Other Damage- Fuel Oil Spills

Homes heated with oil are susceptible to having problems with fuel oils odors due to leaks and spills in and around the furnace area. While large volumes or oil are real problems and can pose environmental risks, small spills and leaks can usually be remedied. Highly porous materials such as wood framing and drywall must be removed entirely. Semi porous materials such as concrete can often be treated effective on-site.

Damage of this nature varies greatly in terms of contamination and extent of absorption that they must be inspected before we can suggest corrective measures. As always, there is no charge for an in-home inspection by RestorTech.
