Other Damage- Skunk Odor

If you live near a wooded area and you have a concrete porch built on the ground or wooden deck that is ground level, you are at high risk of encountering a skunk. Skunks like to burrow and nest underneath these structures, particularly during mating season. Unfortunately, raccoons and ground hogs also like to inhabit these areas and an encounter between these animals and a skunk will usually end up with a discharge of that famous, fetid spray.
